You must not know 'bout me*

I know..I am a slacker.

.: I haven't posted on this thang in ages
NOTE: In other exciting news. I just realized today that I have been bloggin' for 4.5 years. WOW! That's amazing.

.: I haven't been in touch with any friends and family from J.

.: I haven't been staying in touch with friends and family here in the good ol' U S of A

.: I haven't given everyone the million dollars that I promised them...oh wait, I didn't say I was going to do that.

But anyway, hey...New Year, New You Me!
So let me share the "New & Good"s for me...

.: Business/Core Connection Integrative Living is going well
.: I think I am going to PR for my birthday

.: I am loved.

So there. Over the next year, I plan on working on the follow things:
.: Staying in touch with people (Send me your mailing address and birthday)
.: Financial empowerment
.: Listening

Listen to ME!!!!!

I am on the radio. Listen...Listen...Listen!

Yesterday, I made my US radio debut. I talked about diabetes and sugar...sugar...everyone's favorite! I listened to the show and it was much better than I remember it being when it was live. I already know that I said "basically" and "you know..." entirely TOO many times.

Hopefully, people will listen to the show and give me "constructive" criticism about the show. This is the start of big things...YAY!

status (quo?)

I am alive and uh....well...and kickin'. Hard to believe but I am STILL adjusting to things. I just celebrated another year of my wonderful and "exciting" life and I feel great about that. I have been truly blessed. I am still in school #1, school #2, working job #1, just left job #2, doing my best at job #3, and just started today at job #4 (replacing #2). So...there's a lot going on. All this working and it's still under 30 hours per week.

I am looking forward to snatching my degree from school #1 so I can get on with life. Aside from all the obvious transitioning that has been going on, I know that I am truly getting ready to make a turn in my life. I have to stay prayed up about some things and hope that the Creator provides me with some clarity about where I need to be.

The good thing is that I will be wavin' muh rag in a few months and getting some much needed sunshine and warmth.

loving school (and taking it back 20+ years)

i'll begin by saying that I am having a great time on my way to becoming a certified holistic health counselor.

as with everything in the universe, there has to be a balance.

so....here we go. sometimes, i feel like we're in elementary school. it moreso related to whiners at the school. it's usually over some petty stuff. the short-ish version of it is: in addition to the regular program that everyone enrolled in, the school has a program with extra classes. These extra classes are for people who want more assistance and guidance in building and maintaining a business. The extra classes are not free, the students who choose to participate actually pay an additional grip to be a part of the extra program. So my question to some of the students who are complaining, is:
why complain about the extra materials and guidance given to the students in the extra program, when they um...paid for it?

There are SO many other things to focus on at the school. I do have the option of not reading those threads within our online forum. So instead of telling people they kinda sound childish and petty, I post to my blog. One, b/c it's my blog. Two, people have the right to say what they feel like saying...even if it's whiny :D

Anyway, I like my school and I am glad that I decided to attend AND join the extra program. So, if you made it this far, check out my site!

being free...

A free person may not be famous or influential, but he or she is actually the most advanced among billions. They determine what kinds of food they should eat, what words they should speak, and what kinds of breathing they should do. And they determine how long they should live and what kinds of things they can do and enjoy in this lifetime, and how they can do them.
- Michi Kushi

I'm am really enjoying life these days. Well, it really should be "...enjoying life even more..." b/c I am generally in good spirits. This month has been great. Thw inter solstice was a definite indicator of transition and I am gladly receiving what is coming my way.

love and light!
